Blackpool’s Charlie Adam heading to Liverpool in £7m deal | Football | The Guardian.
Liverpool today agreed a figure of $7m to potentially take Scottish international Charlie Adam from Blackpool to the Premier League giant. After months of protracted discussions, it appears that the deal has been finalised subject to a medical to be completed in the next 24 hours.
As a Blackpool fan, it will be sad not to see him in a Tangerine shirt next season, but he deserves regular Premier League football, although I have been one of very few people who believe that he has been over-rated.
It remains to be seen if he can command a regular first-team place at Anfield.
